Finally some news about Wentworth as guest in House.
When Benjamin (guest star Wentworth Miller) suddenly collapses after making a rare and generous donation, House and Dr. Chi Park are convinced that his extreme altruistic behavior may indicate a deeper medical disorder. With no definitive explanation for Benjamin’s loss of consciousness and unresponsiveness to treatment, House pushes just the right buttons to recruit former prison doctor Jessica Adams to volunteer her time and expertise to the case. Benjamin then makes a bold but life-threatening offer that could save another life, and the team must diagnose his disorder before he puts his own life on the line. Meanwhile, Adams and Park test each other’s outlook on generosity and gratitude, and Thirteen’s guilt conflicts with her pursuit of personal happiness on an all-new “Charity Case” episode of HOUSE airing Monday, Oct. 17 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.
Prison Break‘s Wentworth Miller has booked a guest stint on House, but the iconic TV convict will (sadly) not be rubbing elbows with Hugh Laurie’s titular doc behind bars.
House creator David Shore tells TVLine exclusively that Wentworth will appear as a patient of the week in an episode that takes place after Dr. Crankypants gets sprung from jail.
“He plays a real altruist,” says Shore. “And there’s some question as to whether that’s his symptom or not.”
Save for a 2009 guest stint on Law & Order: SVU, Miller has kept a relatively low TV profile since wrapping up his Prison stint more than two years ago. His House episode is slated to air in late October.
House kicks off its eighth and possibly final season on Monday, Oct. 3.
